The Curriculum of Community Consolidated School District
146 is based on the Standards and Benchmarks as developed by
the District in conjunction with the Standards and Benchmarks
developed by the State of Illinois. Standards and Benchmarks
are divided into curricular areas and then grouped by grade
levels.
The District has also developed Academic and Behavioral
Expectations for Students to address the need for standards
in the behavioral
realm.
The Behavioral Standards and the
Learning Continuum represents the integration of the academic standards with
these character
standards. It identifies the four
roles and four levels of strategies and interventions to customize learning
for students. The continuum delineates in-depth expectations
for all partners in
learning – teachers, parents, students and the organization. This provides
a systematic approach to "Learning For All."
