District 146 Band Program
The District 146 Band program is made available to fifth,
sixth, seventh and eight grade students. The program offers
students the opportunity for a complete instrumental music
education which consists of private lessons, sectionals and
full band rehearsals. The program provides students with
performing opportunities consisting of solo and ensemble
contest, organization contests, parades, special events and
regular performances in December and May. Our Symphonic Band
in some years will travel to other cities on performance
tours. The band has performed in St. Louis, Mo., Toronto,
Canada, University of Illinois, Indiana University, Illinois
State University, Northwestern University, Purdue University,
Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios in Orlando,
Florida and Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee. For more information
