Music Education

Mrs. Hill

Music is offered to students in kindergarten through fifth grade.  The students sing, learn how to read and create music, perform on a variety of rhythmic instruments, learn how to play recorders, and develop life time musical skills for music appreciation.  The students learn about composers and their music.  They explore a variety of styles of music, including classical, jazz, country/western, folk and rock and roll.

Chorus

Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Kasper lead the Fourth and Fifth grade Chorus.  The Winter Chorus visited two retirement homes to spread some holiday cheer. They also led a "Sing Along" for Fierke students in December.
