Choose one activity for the summer
- Find a cozy spot and read a book of your choice for 20 minutes daily.
- Complete an ELA IXL Summer Boost Skill Plan.
- Read books on Renaissance Learning (My ON) for 20 minutes daily.
- Play a fun family board game like Scrabble, Zingo!, Bananagrams, Sequence Letters, or Boggle, Jr.
- Complete your local library Reading Challenge:

Choose 2-3 activities weekly
- Complete one virtual field trip or real-life field trip. Describe your favorite part to someone.
- Take a nature walk and journal observations.
- Draw and write about three things you’re thankful for. Share with a family member.
- Pick a movement activity: play a sport or active game.
- Daily Journal Time.
- Visit Tinley Park’s Oak Park Avenue benches-write about your favorite bench or create a vlog documenting your experience.
- Visit the Farmer's Market and try a new fruit or vegetable.
