Dear District 146 Families,
Our school district is saddened to learn of the death of Nihad Jaghama, a pre-kindergarten student at Fulton. Our hearts go out to his family.
The District’s Crisis Intervention Team, which includes psychologists and social workers, is on hand to provide support for our students and staff.
While we provide counseling at school for those who need it, please understand that your child’s emotions at home may be wide and varied. You can help your child through this rough time by encouraging them to share their feelings. Any outlet for their emotions is considered healthy and normal.
If you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like your child to speak to one of our counselors, please contact your school office.
We ask that you please keep Nihad’s family in your thoughts.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jeff Stawick
Superintendent
